Somewhere, Somehow is an interactive performance installation exploring moments of personal geographies. Abstracted information about individual experiences with place is presented through a series of maps and movement- both set and improvised. The installation questions how movement might be used to engage with memories of location, and hopes to  provide viewers with the opportunity to explore and experiment with questions such as  how can we relate to other people's personal experiences; how can I inhabit the spaces and experiences someone else has inhabited; and how can my openness to someone else's experience with a given location and their openness to mine allow us to develop a communal language or shared understanding of experience.
